Manpreet Kaur 25, was in her mothers womb when her father was killed. Fearing for his life, her father was thrown out by the neighbor who gave him shelter at 12 in the night. The mob tied him to a pole and burnt him alive. Manpreet is one of the few of her generation who has completed graduation. Her mother says its difficult to find a groom for her as most people don't prefer an alliance with a family without a father.
